The thermal lining is made of 100% ultralight polyester (69 g/m2) with high insulating properties, capable of actively managing perspiration for faster drying. OCTA® is a unique and highly sophisticated fibre with a distinctive cross section consisting of eight protrusions, aligned in a radial pattern around a hollow fibre, resembling an octopus. The gaps between the protrusions are designed to trap air and preserve body heat. The unique OCTA® fibre structure helps it to dry more quickly and the open construction reduces the weight by 50% compared to the normal polyester material. Its unique construction makes the fabrics super lightweight, highly breathable and extremely warm. Outerwear with OCTA® ensures comfort in all weather conditions.

The Traccia Octa Maglia is Montura’s hybrid fleece for ski touring, designed for active use both as a mid layer and as an outer layer. Thanks to our Weather-ready construction on the front in super-light polyamide with PFAS-free DWR, it delivers wind resistant, water-repellent reliability in exposed conditions. On the inside, the Thermo-adaptive OCTA® lining provides lightweight insulation, rapid moisture transfer and quick-drying comfort, making it highly efficient during intense activity. Stretch fleece inserts on back, sleeves, hips and neck increase breathability and freedom of movement, while mesh details enhance ventilation on key zones. Functional features include a central zip, hand and chest pockets, elastic hem, and cuffs with thumbholes. Versatile, resistant, and distinct from a traditional fleece, it is ideal for ski mountaineering and fast outdoor pursuits.
