Dolomiti di Brenta

Trail 2025

A one-of-a-kind event in the heart of the Dolomites

XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail is a trail running competition set among the majestic Brenta Dolomites, recognized by UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage Site. An extraordinary alpine landscape provides the backdrop for a race that stands out for its beauty, technical difficulty, and intensity.

The race crosses some of the most iconic locations in the Brenta mountain group: from Lake Molveno — the beating heart of the event — to Andalo, Cima Santa Maria, Cima di Campa, Passo del Grosté, and the legendary central peaks such as Cima Brenta, Crozzon di Brenta, Cima Tosa, and Campanil Basso. This spectacular route ends with a descent through Bocca di Brenta, returning once again to the lake.

The 2025th edition

Montura confirms its role as main sponsor and partner for the 2025 edition, which will offer participants the opportunity to test themselves across three scenic routes — so mark your calendar for September 6, 2025!

  • XTERRA 64 km | 4200 m D+ : A demanding, technical course designed for experienced trail runners.

  • XTERRA 45 km | 2850 m D+ : A complete alternative route, fully immersed in the heart of the Brenta massif.

  • XTERRA 21 km | 1250 m D+ - The most accessible distance - yet still rich in charm and challenge.

All races take place in a single stage, with both the start and finish lines located in Molveno, along high-altitude trails that traverse areas of great natural and environmental value.

A sport event with a social purpose

The 2025 edition of the Dolomiti di Brenta Trail supports the project "Una Ger per tutti – Ger for Life", promoted by Montura in collaboration with the Mongolian Red Cross, the Need You association, and Rotary International.

Created by anthropologist David Bellatalla — active for years in Ulaanbaatar — the project led to the creation of a solidarity village made up of Gers (traditional Mongolian tents), designed to provide shelter and training for single mothers with children with disabilities. This humanitarian initiative aims to offer assistance and promote independence for vulnerable families, and is also supported through editorial publications and various cultural activities.

In 2025, the finisher prize awarded to athletes will be symbolically dedicated to the project, as a sign of solidarity and concrete support.
