VULCAN 2.0 JACKET BLACK/MID GREY

2-layer super-light nylon fabric (61 g/sq.m) laminated with an ultra-thin windproof waterproof (15,000 mm water column) and breathable (15,000 g/sq.m/24h) polyurethane membrane. The high-density construction of the fibres guarantees excellent mechanical performance and abrasion resistance. The DWR coating guarantees long-lasting performance, even after numerous washes. Nylon CORDURA® fabric (79 g/sq.m) with a double-ripstop construction and water-repellent coating. Very light and compact with excellent mechanical resistance. The back has a special polyurethane coating that is water-repellent (7,000 mm water column), breathable (7,000 g/sq.m/24h) and windproof. The fabric does not absorb water and dries quickly, even after numerous washes. CORDURA® products are made of high tenacity, high-tech textured polyamide 6.6 for maximum resistance and durability, lightness and easy care. Even the lightest Cordura® fabric offers a resistance to abrasion that it two times higher than a normal air-jet textured nylon fabric. ANTIUV: UPF50+.

POLARTEC® ALPHA® DIRECT (139 g/sq.m) is an evolution of the original Alpha® technology which eliminates the need to use a direct contact liner. By refining the shape and size of its bulky fibers, Alpha® Direct can be directly in contact with the skin or other layers of fabric. This new design capability increases breathability and further reduces the overall weight of the clothing.

PERTEX® QUANTUM (36 g/sq.m): products made in PERTEX QUANTUM® have the optimal mechanical performance to weight ratio. This ultra-light product is as soft as silk, extremely compressible, with excellent abrasion resistance and offers protection from external moisture, wind and rain: the fabric does not get wet and dries quickly, thanks to the special DWR coating, which guarantees lasting performance, even after numerous washes. Comfortemp®: Ultralight polyester insulation (60 g/sq.m) that provides thermal insulation, the utmost lightness and freedom of movement. The special construction prevents fibre migration and it is easy care. This innovative insulation combines the advantages of down and synthetic padding in a quality that has not been achieved before. This thermal insulation is higher than conventional padding while being as light and soft as down. Comfortemp® is an innovative alternative to down, with optimal breathability and it holds its shape even after washing, ensuring no cold spots.
