Montura Store Aosta opened on 13 December 2009 on the grounds known for having been the historical premises of the legendary brand Ottoz, a renowned producer of spirits.
The shop is located 1 km from the western entrance into Aosta, on the strada statale which connects the motorway entrance with the town itself. The premises are provided with an ample private parking lot and a laboratory for the fitting and repairing of skis, ski boots and rockshoes as well as the sharpening of ice screws. There is a rental room to provide you with rockshoes or with the complete equipment required for snowshoeing tours and ski mountaineering (skis and ski bindings, ski poles, ski boots, Artva devices, avalanche shovels and probes).
Montura Store Aosta is also an NTN Point of Scarpa where you can try on Telemark boots fitted with the new NTN ski binding system and use the Garmin demos to test various products such as Trek Map Italia. During the winter season the shop offers you the opportunity of attending a basic course for the usage of Artva devices, going on a ski-testing day tour or enjoying a one-day free-ride outing.

Montura Store Aosta is also a Bike centre, as there is the new Montura bikewear line and it is a BMC dealer.
All staff members have been given an adequate training for their profession, besides being regular frequenters of the surrounding mountain environment in either one of numerous disciplines, which allowed them to become familiar with the same technical vocabulary adopted by the clientele. The shop has got a small conference room along with a laboratory and a rental room located in a detached building. Inside the shop there is a comfortable bar displaying the products of the former distillery that had made these premises known and appreciated by both the local and foreign clientele from Switzerland and France, long before Alpstation Aosta was established on the same ground. A sports club named Polisportiva Alpstation Aosta was founded in August 2010 to satisfy the wishes of a large number of people practising the various sports disciplines connected with the mountains.
