When we were invited to take part in a trek to the Annapurna Base Camp, in Nepal, to present one of our shows, it felt like the fulfilment of a dream. After years spent bringing mountain culture to the stage - in cities and at altitude - we could not have imagined a more meaningful outcome.


For this special occasion, we chose “Even Impossible Dreams – Fausto De Stefani’s 15th Eight-Thousander.” Not by chance: it is near Kathmandu that Fausto De Stefani, together with the Senza Frontiere Foundation, founded the Rarahil Memorial School — an inclusive, forward-thinking educational centre that he himself calls “his greatest achievement,” his fifteenth eight-thousander.

Two days in Kathmandu, ten days of walking, one day at Rarahil.
This film tells the story of that journey: the trail, the effort, the joy, the landscapes, the silences, the encounters; the performance in a high-altitude lodge before an international audience… and, above all, the shock and wonder of standing before the Annapurna Base Camp, wrapped in snow.


And finally, the visit to Rarahil: a place we had evoked on our stages for years, now standing right before our eyes.
From those heights we looked back. What an emotion it was to glimpse that barely visible path we set foot on fifteen years ago, when we began telling stories of the mountains, in the mountains. Today it has become a clear, well-marked trail — a visible track that has led us all the way there.
